Its not simple one, Steamed Prawn Tofu



 Steamed Prawn Tofu




Tofu also known as bean curd. Made by coagulating soy milk then pressing the resulting curds into soft white block. Tofu originated in China but very well known in Indonesia n other countries of Asia. Tofu has low calorie count and high protein so it will be good for my healthy menu n its perfect for my #NoJunkFood challange on migme. Here i share my favorite steamed tofu recipe. Check it out
 
Ingredients :
 6 blocks Tofu
1 egg
1 Kaffir Lime leaf, chop it
1 Bay leaf, chop it
1 Spring Onion
100 gr small prawn
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
½ teaspoon sugar
100 gr Shredded coconut
Some Banana Leaves to Wrap
Some toothpicks to stick the banana wrap

Condiment :
5 Shallots
6 Red Chillies
4 green chillies
2 cm Turmeric
1 teaspoon shrimp paste  in Indonesian word, Belacan in Malaysia and Kapi in Thailand


How to cook :
1.       Grind all the condiments until it mixed well and smooth
2.       Press the tofu n grind it till smooth
3.       Put some oil in pan then when its heated put the prawn and condiment
4.       Stir it for 3 minutes til the prawn done
5.       Placed the tofu in a large bowl then add the condiment also salt, sugar, chicken stock powder, shredded coconut,egg, Kaffir lime leaf and bay leaf and mix it well
6.       After the tofu dough ready, put some tofu in a piece of banana leaf, make it like a tube then stick it with toothpicks in both side
7.       When its ready, steamed it on a pan with boiled water.
8.       Steamed it for 15 minutes and ur Tofu is ready to served

Simple Recipe : Vegetable Coconut Salad




This week i started #NoJunkFood Challange on migme. As i told u that migme is one social site that i love to share so i want to share u also my recipe. Since the challange begin, i try to just eat healthy food. These recipes will be worth as diet food due to low calorie n high in protein n fiber. Check it out. These are traditional n authentic Indonesian javanese recipe but i just modify it a bit with adding some ingredients.

Vegetable With Coconut Salad Dressing (In Indonesia we call it Urap)




 
Ingredients :
A bunch of Water spinach or Spinach
Cabbage
Carrot ( slices it into mathches size)
Corn, u can add it as u wish
Sprout
Tomato
Or other vegetable u want

Salad dressing :
5 Chilli pepper (As much as u want it hot or medium)
1 Shallot
1 tbsp shrimp paste or terasi in Indonesian word, Belacan in Malaysia and Kapi in Thailand
1cm of lesser galanga ( in Indo we called it Kencur, Malay call it cekur or pro hom in Thailand )
1/2 teaspoon salt
100 gr Shredded coconut

How to make :
-          Boil all the vegetable til it medium cook for some minutes. Dont boil it too long. Make sure the water is boiled first then put the vegetable one by one.
-          Grind all the chilli, shallot, lesser galanga, and shrimp paste and salt
-          Add the shredded coconut
-          Mix it well
-          Chop the spinach and cabbage, and add other vegetable on plate
-          Put some dressing on plate then mix it well
-          Ur salad is ready to served

Simple snack : Fruit Chocolate Stick




Papaya Chocolate Stick’
Craving some easy snack for hot day? This one maybe can help u to get simple yummy fruit n chocolate snack. Fruit is healthy so does the chocolate but we need to choosed the dark chocolate block that contain less sugar and fat. Here the easy way how to make it. U can replace papaya with honeydew, strawberry, banana or other fruits u love to eat.


Ingredients :
1 Medium size California Papaya
4 Chocolate block
Some ice cream stick
1 table spoon Cooking Oil
How to make :
1.       Cut the papaya into some pieces
2.       Stick it with ice cream stick
3.       Put the papaya into the freezer and let it for minimum 3 hours
4.       Boil some water in a pan then steam the chocolate using a bowl inside the water til the chocolate melted
5.       Take the papaya from fridge then dip it into the chocolate
6.       Let it for some minutes and Voila ur papaya Chocolate stick is done u can also add some chocolate flakes or any topping u want.

Simple Recipe #Homecook Noodle



Stir Chicken Kwetiau


 

Hy guys its been long time i didnt update my blog so now i wanna share u a recipe.. Actually its a chinese food but i modify it a bit so it can be accepted by Indonesian tongue. Yesterday i made Stir Kwetiau Chicken. Kwetiau is a traditional rice noodle originated from China. Its light n delicious. U can try to cook it at home.

Here are ingredients we need :
250 gr Kwetiau or Rice Noodle
2 Scallots
2 garlics
1 spoonful Oyster Sauce
1 spoonful Soy Sauce
Chilli
Vegetable : Carrots, Sprout, Spring Onion
1 Chicken breast Fillet, Chop it into pieces
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Chicken Stock Powder
 How to coook :
 1. Put some oil into the pan then put the scallot and garlic, stir it 
       2. Add the egg then stir until the egg scrambled then put the chicken chop into the pan
3. Let it for some minutes until it cooked
4. Put vegetables n stir it for some minutes
       5. Add the kwetiau, pepper, Oyster sauce, Chicken powder, and Soy sauce
       6.  Stir all the ingredients til it mix perfectly.
              7. Ur Stir Chicken Kwetiau is done n ready to served
