Snack For the day : Corn Fritter



Corn Fritter Recipe



 Who doesn’t love fritter? I think almost everyone like it but sometimes its not  healthy  way to enjoy fritter as snack. I think this vegetable corn fritter is worth to try since its contain vegetable but make sure u use right cooking oil to fry it. 
Because My family like it so much hihi so i often made this fritter as afternoon snack . Check the recipe below

Ingredients :
2 Corn, Take Corn kernels off the Cob
1 Carrot, sliced it into small matches stick
2 Spring Onion, chop it
1 Egg
150 gr Wheat Flour
50 gr Rice Flour
1 teaspoon pepper powder
1 table spoon chicken stock
1 tea spoon salt
150 ml water ( U can make it thick or thin its up to u to add or put less water)
Condiment :
3 Shallots
3 Garlic
2 candlenut (Kemiri in Indoneia, Buah keras in Malay) if u cant find it just skip it







How to make :

      1. Put the corn kernels, carrot and spring onion on large bowl 

      2. Grind all the condiments then add it into bowl   

     















    3. Put the flour, egg, pepper, chicken stock powder, salt and water stir it til it mix well


 
















4. Put some cooking oil on pan then put 1 spoon of dough on oil when the temperature is hot enough then add other spoon of dough one by one

5. fry it til golden brown then take it out from the oil. Drain it


 6.Put it on plate Ur Corn fritter is ready to serve

7.Fry the remain dough or u can save it on fridge if u want to fry it later

#Homecook Recipe : Squid In Padangnese Sauce



Cumi Saus Padang ( Squid in Padangnese Saude)

  if u wanna join haha,, its not hard to stay away from junk food really but sometime i wanna eat some snack haha. Anyways today i made a seafood dish and i served it with Stir Water Spinach with Oyster Sauce. But unfortunately i cant eat squid much since i have allergy with it. So this is my Squid in Padangnese Sauce Recipe. Check it out 




Ingredients :

250gr Fresh Squid
1 Table spoon Oyster Sauce
1 table spoon Chilli Sauce
1 Table spoon Soy Sauce
1 Table spoon tomato sauce
2 Lime leaves
1 tomato
1 lemongrass
1 Lime


 

Condiment :
5 Shallots
3 Garlics
5 Red Chilli
5 Green Chilli pepper
1 cm Turmeric
1 cm Ginger






 How To cook :



1.  Wash the squid and throw away the ink inside it make sure its clean and place it into a bowl
2. queze lime on the squid to remove the fishy odor then wash again with clean water.                                  3  Grind all the condiments til it got mix and soft texture

 






     4.  Place 2 tablespoon oil on pan then fry the sliced tomato first, make sure u use low heat cos it will leaves the tomato remain sweet




  
     5. Add the condiment, lemon grass and lime leaf, stir it til u can smell the fragrance



           

       6. Put the squids and stir it with the condiment   

 

       7. Add water also the oyster sauce, soy sauce, chilli sauce, and tomato sauce, Stir it



 8. Let it cook til the squid done and the water gone


 
         9. Ur dish is ready to served 
         
        Yesterday i served this squid dish with Stir water spinach in Oyster Sauce and Corn Fritter.. My family like it so much even i cant eat the squid im happy enough n will keep strong on #No JunkFood Challange on Migme.
